How many players can take part in an escape room game?
At Linked Minds Escape Room, our rooms accommodate a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 players. Sunset Boulevard in Battle mode can accommodate groups of up to 12 people. We also offer The Last Viking Hall Escape, which accommodates between 4 and 16 players.
Are there any age or physical limitations?
Linked Minds Escape Room games are designed for adults, although under-16s may participate when accompanied by an adult. If in doubt, Linked Minds Escape Room reserves the right to request supporting documentation. No prior physical preparation is needed: the games develop skills such as intelligence, perception and teamwork. You will never need to use physical strength or force any element.
Are the games only for clever people?
The escape games at Linked Minds Escape Room were not created for extraordinary people; you do not need to be a genius. To escape or solve the puzzles, simply pay attention to detail, connect ideas, think beyond the obvious and, above all, work as a team and share information quickly.
Are you really locked inside an escape room?
At Linked Minds Escape Room, the objective may be to solve puzzles, riddles, mysteries and challenges, or to escape from a mission. You are never completely locked in: anyone who urgently needs to leave may tell us and do so without any problem. Claustrophobia does not prevent participation, and the immersion makes the hour pass very quickly. If you feel unwell, you can leave whenever needed. Staff monitor and supervise the game at all times.
How early should we arrive at Linked Minds Escape Room?
Linked Minds Escape Room is at Calle Pizarro 22, right-hand unit, in Madrid’s Malasaña neighbourhood. Arrive at the booked time, neither earlier nor later, as the experience begins then. We allow a 10-minute grace period; after that, you will unfortunately be unable to participate because the booking schedule cannot be delayed. Arriving early is not advisable either, as we may be attending to the previous group or preparing a room for you. Ideally, arrive at the exact booking time.
Can you play in English?
Of course! At Linked Minds Escape Room, our games are available in both Spanish and English. Tell us your language preference when booking or when you arrive to play at our venue.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded under any circumstances.
Linked Minds Escape Room accepts booking changes provided they are requested at least 48 hours before the booked time and subject to availability.
Changes notified or requested within 48 hours of the booking will not be accepted. Any change must be notified by email to info@linked-minds.com, within the period stated above.
Changes from one experience to another will not be accepted.
How long does a Linked Minds Escape Room experience last?
Linked Minds Escape Room experiences last approximately 80–90 minutes. When you ring the bell, we welcome you with an immersive introduction; you then have around 60–75 minutes to complete the mission. Afterwards, you can discuss the room with the Game Master and we will take photos.
What happens if we cannot progress at some point in the escape room?
Do not worry: it is normal to reach a point where you are unsure how to continue. A Linked Minds Escape Room Game Master will supervise your game and, without giving away the exact solution, provide clues so that you can solve the challenge yourselves.
What happens if we do not escape the room in time?
There is no problem if you do not escape in time; you will be neither the first nor the last players not to achieve their goal. We will still take some photos so you can remember your Linked Minds Escape Room experience.
What is a virtual escape room game?
It is a game whose concept and mechanics are very similar to a physical escape room. The difference is that the scenery and props exist in a virtual environment on your PC, tablet or mobile. You must solve a mission or objective within a set time. You choose a character in the online escape room, making the experience more immersive, and achieve the objectives by following clues and solving riddles and puzzles just as in a traditional escape room.
To enjoy the online escape room experience, you will need two devices, headphones and a video-conferencing service so that you can work efficiently as a team.
